What is your professional background?
I have professional experience of more than 20 years as a Delivery Leader and Project Manager. I have led complex projects involving multiple phases in finance and ICT alongside the public sector. My work also helped me acquire experience in leading large-scale development projects to create digital platforms and software.
I have had the experience of working in environments focused on regulation and compliance with priority to governance, operational resilience, security, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) alongside speed and execution.
Thorough my organization, Concept360, I help clients implement complex projects powered with compliance, governance and PMO practices to deliver audit-ready and realistic outcomes.
As of now, I am trying to learn more about tokenization, digital assets and real-world asset tokenization platforms. I believe that it will help me with my preparations to use my experience with enterprise delivery in the blockchain space.
What is your motivation for learning about blockchain and tokenization?
As a leader of fintech and IAM programs, I noticed some parallels between the challenges in traditional finance and the ones in blockchain and RWA platforms. The challenges of identity, compliance, auditability, onboarding and risk, with each challenge becoming more critical as technology and enterprise landscapes evolve.
Blockchain and tokenization can offer more than just a technical shift in enterprise operations. With tokenization at play in real-world enterprise environments, you will have to think about challenges in delivery and governance.
I also wanted to understand the business implications and regulatory aspects of tokenization with a structured approach. It is one of the reasons for which I picked 101 Blockchains.
Which course or certification did you pick from 101 Blockchains?
I picked the ‘Tokenization Fundamentals’ training course by 101 Blockchains. It is a self-paced course that I could pursue along with my professional responsibilities and learn about tokenization.
Did the course help you?
The ‘Tokenization Fundamentals’ training course offered a comprehensive introduction to popular tokenization models adopted for real-world assets. It also sheds light on the significance of token standards ERC-3643 and ERC-1400 in real world asset tokenization.
The course also includes a lesson on comparison between security tokens and utility tokens. Furthermore, it will help you understand the role of prominent regulatory frameworks relevant to tokenization.
I also learned about best practices to achieve compliance by design and the concepts of liquidity from the course. I could now use blockchain technology to achieve the desired standards of delivery, governance, and compliance in real-world enterprise environments.
At 101 Blockchains, you don’t just earn certifications — you gain real-world skills that shape you into a confident blockchain professional.
How do you implement your knowledge in the professional space?
I am implementing my knowledge of tokenization to expand my professional specialization in the following areas.
- RWA and regulated fintech platforms
- Governance-driven blockchain projects
- KYC/AML onboarding and compliance controls
- Identity strategy, IAM, and decentralized identity
I also use my knowledge in professional writing to share insights on importance of delivery discipline, compliance, and identity in driving blockchain adoption. I aim to use these practices in tokenization and digital asset projects in future.
What is the next plan for your blockchain learning journey?
The next step in my blockchain learning journey will be about validating my expertise with certifications by 101 Blockchains. I want to pursue certification programs that will help me learn about blockchain product strategy and decentralized identity. I believe that knowledge of IAM and DID is crucial to design secure and compliant RWA platforms.
What would you recommend to a professional who is taking their first steps in the blockchain space?
The first thing you need to do ignore the hype and focus on the fundamental concepts. Try to learn and discover different ways in which blockchain technology solves real business problems. You should understand that implementing blockchain in any regulated industry requires governance, structured delivery and identity management. If you already have professional in enterprise delivery or security, then you will have no difficulties in learning about blockchain.
